To support more accurate and standardized data entry, the "I am a resident of" field on the KY State Tax 2025 (K-4) form has been updated for better usability and validation.

What's new?

The field previously allowed free text entry, which increased the risk of incorrect or inconsistent state data being submitted. It has now been replaced with a dropdown menu containing all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, ensuring users can only select valid options.
